Joseph Dobrusin, DPM is a Board Certified Podiatric Foot and Ankle Physician at The CORE Institute, specializing in adult reconstructive foot surgery, sports medicine, trauma and general foot care.
For the past 35 years, Dr. Dobrusin cared for the foot and ankle needs of residents in the Northwest Valley of Phoenix. Prior to coming to Arizona, he served as the Chief of Podiatry at Montefiore Hospital Medical Center in New York. Upon arriving in Arizona, he joined Arizona Medical Clinic to serve the Northwest Valley patient population. He has also served as President of the Arizona State Board of Podiatry Examiners and was a member of the Board for 5 years. His care ethos has focused on improving the health and welfare of his patients in the most expedient manner preserving personalization within the standard care and cutting-edge medical principles.
He obtained his graduate degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he also completed his residency. For his undergraduate degree, he attended the State University of New York at Albany/Cortland.
He has previously co-authored a chapter in the Podiatry Institute Annual Update Textbook on Adult Reconstructive Foot Surgery. In addition, Dr. Dobrusin has participated in numerous hands-on surgical training “Mini Residency Courses” at the Podiatry Institute in Tucker Georgia, as well as many surgical skills courses offered by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
