Anuj Daftari, MD is a Double Board Certified Physician in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. His fellowship training is in Interventional Spine and Pain Medicine. He believes in a multidisciplinary approach to pain management including physical therapy, pain medications, and interventional procedures. Dr. Daftari utilizes a wide-range of minimally-invasive techniques to help diagnose and treat various painful conditions.
Dr. Daftari received his fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Wayne State University Henry Ford Hospital in the Department of Anesthesiology in Michigan. He completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Case Western University – Metrohealth Medical Center in Ohio and his internal medicine internship at St. Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Daftari obtained his medical degree from St. George’s University Medical School in Grenada, West Indies. He obtained his master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Here he was an All-American Scholar and was actively involved in the Sigma Xi Research Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society.
Dr. Daftari has contributed journal articles to the American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics as well as actively participates in academic conferences. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR), American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM), and the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS).
Dr. Daftari is actively involved in teaching and is the Pain Medicine Fellowship Director at The CORE Institute.
