About Dr. Xie

Katherine Xie, MD, is a Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Surgeon at The CORE Institute specializing in conditions that affect the foot and ankle.

Prior to joining The CORE Institute, Dr. Xie completed her Foot & Ankle Fellowship at Harvard- Massachusetts General Hospital. For her residency in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Xie attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where she was given the distinction of Chief Resident. Her Doctoral Degree was obtained from Case Western Reserve University, and she holds an Undergraduate Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University.

Dr. Xie continues to be an active contributor to medical academia, as a contributing author and lecturer, having presented research on several orthopedic topics.
