As painful and frustrating as it maybe, you will always get a straight answer that is the truth about your diagnosis condition from this man, which is a credit to his character and profession. Dr. Daftari knows his field and does his work with amazing care and precision. One might think that administering the same treatment to many different patients, day after day, month after month, year after year, could be tedious. My impression is that Dr. Daftari sees each patient as a unique person who is hurting, and whom he can help through his medical skills. He is attentive to detail in informing and making sure that the patient understands - Above is offered by ALL in his team as well - His PAs were diligent, specially Tanner, a young man who shocked us with his fluency in Spanish used along his kind interest in my 85 year old mother's understanding - he googled pictures to walk her through her issues - I felt he would have drawn them if needed, she likes him a lot. At 85, my mother goes to her fair number of Dr. visits - We often leave with a sense of being processed and had our share of smugness. I've been seeing Dr. Daftari for a year for chronic nerve, neck, back, and hip pain following a motor vehicle accident and my conditions have improved significantly. I am taking much less medication now with the goal of no medication soon. Daftari switched me off a medication that caused severe depression and helped me find a way to get the new medication to fit my budget. This doctor listens to the symptoms and remembers you. I feel more understood than with prior pain management doctor. He takes a holistic approach to pain and encourages the patient to heal not just the body, but the mind after experiencing trauma. At his suggestion, I have incorporated cognitive behavioral therapy, meditation, and other mindfulness techniques to calm the central nervous system to be less guarded after experiencing trauma and my muscle spasms are starting to release and my flexibility has improved. The Spine Center at The Core in Gilbert, AZ is a well oiled machine. Everyone understands their role, completes your visit so you are safe and comfortable and everyone is friendl,y helpful and congenial. Check in is a breeze because I pay for my co-pay by card before I arrive. This means I don't carry anything into the appointment. Give my name at the front desk and in a very few minutes I'm called back to the prep area. Depending on the procedure, I may be given a gown but by choosing sedation I always get an IV. (Don't worry the nurses are great and it is easy as 1,2,3!) I sign necessary paperwork and in a few quick moments Dr. Daftari comes in to answer any questions concerning this procedure. This last appointment I met his P.A. I think. Nice! The anesthesiologist speaks with me answering any questions and we usually discuss the drug(s) that will be used. Next I walk to the procedure room where I'm greated warmly. Staff verifies who I am and what procedure I'm having. The room is bustling with staff. Quickly I'm given oxygen, made comfortable on the table, given drugs and I'm in La La Land. A few minutes later I wake up in recovery, dress if needed, am given my recovery instructions and wheeled out to my waiting car and driver. I've had different types of procedues at other pain clinic and prefer this one!!! Efficiency, time saved waiting around, friendly staff and a great professional Dr. Daftari makes this service the best! I saw Dr. Ughwanagho 1st, after having some tests done he got to the bottom of it. He had me meet with Dr. Daftari for my consultation on having Cervical Epidural Injections. Dr Daftari and his direct team are very caring and compassionate! He took the time to not only listen but sent me immediately to their Xray tech and took me straight back to the room for him to review with me and set up our game plan to get me feeling better and heal. Never feel rushed with him or like he has more important patients or things to take care of. We've been using CORE and DR Daftari for about 5 years, and they are excellent. Our latest was for knee pain. Scheduler got us in within a week, Dr sent us over for an x-ray to confirm, then injected the knee. Immediate relief.
