What is Outpatient Physical Therapy?
Physical therapy uses exercises, hands-on massage, heat therapy, and other treatments to restore or prevent the loss of your abilities and improve mobility and independence. Your physical therapist works closely with your physician to deliver a comprehensive and tailored plan specific for your recovery. Additionally, our therapist will give you instructions on how to continue your progress at home with exercises and self-care.

Your therapist has worked closely with your physician to devise a comprehensive plan which uses the latest proven techniques and technologies to maximize your recovery. Physical therapy has been shown to be an integral component to a full recovery by helping you regain mobility skills and return to your daily activities or job more quickly. Your First Appointment
Count on your provider to get to know you, listen to your concerns, and answer your questions. Together, you’ll create a treatment plan and physical therapy schedule tailored to your needs and goals.
What to Expect
Your first visit will include a physical therapy evaluation. This lets your provider assess your current health situation and symptoms.
How Long Will it Take?
Your first visit will last 60 to 90 minutes.
What to Wear
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that’s easy to exercise in for your evaluation and future appointments.
Can I Bring a Support Person?
You may bring one friend, family member, or caregiver with you to your evaluation. For future visits, you’ll be seen alone to protect your privacy and the privacy of other patients.

The CORE Institute accepts a wide range of insurance plans. Bring your insurance card(s) and ID to your first appointment so our team can verify your benefits and coverage. Rely on our friendly staff to help you verify your coverage and let you know if a copay is due at your visit.
