Biography

Tajdip Sandhu, MD is a fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon, specializing in all aspects of spine care including trauma, degenerative, both open and minimally invasive, tumor, deformity and disc replacement.

Dr. Sandhu completed a combined spine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital-Brigham and Women’s Hospital and completed his orthopedic surgery residency training from Keck-LAC USC Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Southern California – Keck School of Medicine and undergraduate degree from University of Southern California. At USC, Dr. Sandhu received the merit-based, full tuition funded Trustee scholarship and was selected to the prestigious Baccalaureate/MD program, which granted him acceptance to the USC-Keck School of Medicine out of high school.

While attending the University of Southern California – Keck School of Medicine, Dr. Sandhu received a grant from the USC Stevens Institute of Innovation to lead a team in Southern India to research oral cancer prevention and to implement educational programs to target at-risk youth. He contributed editorial works describing his teams experience to CNN.com. He also represented Keck School of Medicine with the California Medical Association. He remains active in multiple national and orthopedic spine societies and orthopedic research.
