The CORE Institute® is the premier center of excellence for orthopedics, encompassing four CORE values:
The Center for Orthopedic Research and Education, called The CORE Institute®, was founded in 2004 to fulfill a vision of orthopedic excellence encompassing the entire spectrum of orthopedic sciences. Consistent with our mission, CORE delivers orthopedic surgical care, one patient at a time. Our elite team of physicians continues to pioneer research that advances orthopedic knowledge so that we may provide excellence in patient care. In the operating room and the clinic, CORE surgeons are setting a new standard of care by fostering a culture of dedication to excellence. Our surgeons are from the top of their medical schools, the top of their residency classes and all are subspecialty fellowship trained. CORE surgeons continue to exemplify what it takes to lead their field while maintaining focus on a philanthropic mission— The CORE values of patient care, dedicated research, community service, and medical education. The CORE team looks forward to treating you and your family while continuing to be leaders in education and research. Patient Care: Our first and foremost responsibility is to the patient; to provide state-of-the-art clinical orthopedic care in a courteous, compassionate, expeditious and professional manner. We are a nationally and regionally acclaimed center of excellence for orthopedic surgery. Research: An integral part of providing value to patient care is performing quality research in the basic and clinic sciences. The CORE Institute® has established a nationally recognized orthopedic institute with a research focus in molecular biology, biomechanics and motion analysis of musculoskeletal diseases and injuries. Community Service: The CORE Institute® is a cornerstone of support for the Greater Phoenix and Scottsdale communities through outreach programs, education and service projects. Education: In addition to educating our patients, we are also providing education services to the Sun Health Nursing School, local residency programs, fellows and hospital allied health personnel. Our surgeons are national and international speakers and continue to publish journal articles and book chapters. The CORE Institute® surgeons are the doctors who train other physicians in new surgical techniques. We look forward to serving your needs and the needs of the community, every step of the way.
