David A. Ben-Aviv, MD
David A. Ben-Aviv, MD, a specialist in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation, joins The CORE Institute as Director, In-patient Rehabilitation at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Ben-Aviv received his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at Cornell University and completed his medical degree with Thomas Jefferson University in Pennsylvania. Heading to the West Coast, he completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Santa Clara Valley Hospital. Rounding out his training, he served as a resident, and then later chief resident, in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stanford University. While at Stanford, Dr. Ben-Aviv was also awarded the Peter Singleton Award for Excellence and Loyalty. After his training, Dr. Ben-Aviv practiced in Northern California performing disability exams and in Amarillo, Texas in occupational health and rehab before arriving in Arizona, where his focus is on inpatient rehabilitation.
In his spare time, Dr. Ben-Aviv enjoys spending time on the golf course, tennis courts or relaxing by the pool.
